I joined the Urban Sketchers Ipoh last Sunday at Kg Kepayang
last weekend.
They tend to make this weekly event of sketching a subject
of interest into a picnic maybe a family outing, another good point about Ipoh
and many things that one can do on the weekend.
This week’s subject was more than interesting. The subject house was constructed wholly different when compared to the rest of the houses
in the kampong.
It resembled something that one sees in Indonesian Sumatra
as if was constructed by a Mandailing.

Kg Kepayang is known to be settled earlier
that Ipoh and orang Rawa and Mandailing were present in the area. So were they the craftsmen what constructed this house?
