Adrian Boudville – 2 Birthdays and A Golden Anniversary

Adrian celebrated his 80th birthday and Helen her 74th seen with their son Edmund
It was in late July when I received a call from Adrian Boudville inviting me to attend his 80th birthday as well as his Golden Wedding Anniversary.

On the day of the celebration another birthday was added that of Adrian’s wife Helen who would be celebrating her 74th birthday.

...followed by a kiss
....and another
Well the more the merrier as they say and it was just that with family and friends coming from Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Singapore, UK, Australia and Sweden.

With Adrian and Helen, son Edmund who was the Master of ceremonies, his two children Ashley and Cedric and daughter Aileen it was a most joyous occasion.

Our families have been close. Adrian’s mother Marianne Boudville was my Godmother and even though their family members had settled in different parts of the world we kept in touch.

On occasions such as this all would return to Ipoh to celebrate on this event.

Joining to make the occasion auspicious was HH the Raja Muda of Perak Tuanku Jaffar and other old friends and ‘kakis’ of Adrian from his days with the automobile associations of the Royal Perak Motor Club and the Triumph Owners Club being present.

As the night wore on it began to resemble a Eurasian evening. With Brian Duorado at the microphone strumming the songs of yesteryear and the guests singing and dancing along to make it a wonderful night to remember.

the night carried on ...with Brian Duorado and guests singing ...
... and dancing

Que Sera Sera ......
A photo to remember the night
