Chillax is to keep the meals affordable and serve the dishes that are popular with
the diners.
“The idea is
to come in for a meal with a nice and cooling environment, reasonable good taste
and ample parking and which won’t burn a
hole in your pocket and enjoy your meal” said Ong.
“We have a Hainanese and a Cantonese cook
each. I plan on having set menus such as Portugese and Indian cuisine and
probably a ‘curry tiffin serving’ as I used to work in the estates”.

I choose the nasi
ulam and a quail dish named ‘Birds of Paradise’, eggs included and finished it off
with the Sago Melaka for desert.

Nothing
fancy but it was totally satisfying enough for me want to come back again,
