The Perak
Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCCI) is 110 years old this year and
in the Year of the Rooster they have plans to organize several events with the
aim of promoting Perak.
This was announced by the President of the PCCCI Datuk Liew Sew Yee at its New Year Celebration at the Weil Hotel which was attended by Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Diraja Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, Dato Seri Ong Ka Chuan, members of the state exco, opposition party members and trade organizations.
“Over the
past 12 months they have planned to strategise Visit Perak Year 2017 and PCCCI
110th anniversary by organizing the Ipoh International Food and
Beverage Fair (IIFBF) and the first ever event the Ipoh Cultural Parade a
jointly organized event”
Menteri
Besar Zambry in his speech thanked the PCCCI for working closely with all
parties to develop the state’s economy.
“Let us
continue to work together to reduce politics and ultimately move forward for
the people in this country”
It was
wonderful occasion where all work was set aside and where all parties came
together to celebrate the occasion which was to celebrate the year of the
Rooster.
