DAP Dinner. We Need Everybody Onboard

It was bonus last night at the DAP dinner. It was full house with all 110 tables taken up according to Wong Kah Woh the MC for the night.

Lim Guan Eng came so too did Rafizi Ramli again after coming here 1 week ago at Taman Perpaduan, Tambun.

Then there were the additional speakers, Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin, V. Sivakumar and of course the detailed saudara Nga Kor Meng.

Then too there was the very strong supporter, businessman Mr Koon Yew Yin who proposed that the DAP be provided more seats this election than compared to previous.

GST was brought up by Nizar Jamaluddin, Guan Eng, Kor Meng and even Rafizi all saying they would abolish it within 100 days of Pakatan Harapan entering Putrajaya.

All the speakers kept the audience attention, considering this was Chinese dinner, but it was Rafizi Ramli who really got their attention.

He deduced that we need everybody on board if we are to takeover Putrajaya saying that if there were a split vote from the Malays it would be enough to swing the numbers but “everybody must be on board’ in order for that eventuality.

On the future of Malaysia he said the major ethnic groups in the country are currently the Malays, Chinese, CIMB (Indian, Bangala etc) then the Indian. “That's the official statement from the statistics department”.

By 2035 it will be Malay, CIMB then Chinese and Indian. Back to the Future….?

We are Pakatan Harapan

Lim Guan Eng and Rafizi had a tough time before they got to their cars.

Great dinner, (actually the dinner was quite good), to get as quick snapshot of the health of the economy.

The Ipoh City Council held the ongoing Perak Clean Campaign by holding a gotong royong at  the DR Seenivasagam Park.

A significant turnout by the council’s workforce was on hand at the park from 7.15 this morning including Mayor Datuk Zamri Man, Council Secretary Mohd Zakuan Zakaria and councilors.

They were seen sprucing up the Japanese Garden, clearing fallen trees and leaves throughout the entire park grounds.

Commenting on the campaign thus far Zamri said that the council had to date cleared 9,642 illegal dump sites weighing 2,900 tons of waste.

Rafizi Ramli in Taman Perpaduan , Tambun

I went to see Rafizi Ramli last week when he came to Taman Perpaduan in Tambun. A good speaker that helps one comprehend why the country is in a mess.

The crowd listening attentively to every word said. The crowd, possibly numbered 200 or more but all must have returned enlightened.

The topics he touched on such as why he will abolish GST, foreign workers taking locals jobs, low wages were some of the topics relevant to all of us. It made sense the solutions he had put forward.

Haven't seen them in a while, Nizar Jamaluddin and M.Sivakumar and so too former BN member Hamidah Osman.
