A total of 1,479 food premises were recently graded by MBI ranging from Grade A.B,C and D as of May 2017.
Of that total 245 (16.6%) premises was awarded Grade A, 1,105
(74.2%) Grade B and 129 (8.7%) Grade C.
At the same time a total of 247 outlets were issued with
compounds amounting to RM55,400 for various offences until April 30 this year.

Mayor Datuk Zamry Man presented certificates to 15 of the eateries,
all of them in the Grade A category, after the monthly full board meeting.
