Emma Ranucanu..somehow that name kept ringing in my
head all weekend ...
Emma's mother is Chinese and father is Romanian both
immigrants now living in England .
While the weekend gravitated more toward Ranucanu it belonged to both teenagers. Leylah Fernandez also shares an immigrant background . Fernandez has Ecuadorian , Peruvian and Filipino background.
I believe they are so young and talented that we will be seeing more of them in tennis news from now on.
