Receiving the award from Mr Yu Hai, the President of CASBE ( China Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles) |
It was indeed
a very a proud moment for the girls as they had slogged hard for the past one
year and transformed into a rhythmic marching band, reliving the school motto
of the band ‘Rhythm on the March, Passion in the Heart.
Liew added
that this event being a festival every day the members of the band played a series of performances at the Shanghai International Fashion Centre and the Hans Andersen Theme
Park.
On a breezy May 1st morning below the Yangpu Bridge |
On an early
but wet morning, at the Shanghai Fashion Centre despite the dangers of slipping
or skidding on the wet floor, the girls braved the cold and put up a wonderful
show for the visitors.
At the Shanghai Fashion Centre |
At Pudong
with the Pearl Tower on
the horizon the memory of the trip will be etched with our AMC Band girls for
posterity.
The members
