MCA’s Mega Gathering In Ipoh

MCA’s mega gathering at the Ipoh Convention Centre on March 25 was a massive affair which saw members from as far as Teluk Intan in attendance ferried by a multitude of buses.

But maybe the timing wasn’t right as by the end of the day when the early speakers had their say and MCA President was at the microphone the crowd had thinned by almost 50%.

The venue at the spanking new Ipoh Convention Centre was perfect. Considering that it was held at 2pm the members must have begun their journey several hours earlier. The majority of those attended were senior with a smattering of young participants.

 It was certainly a logistics effort ferrying participants. They must have started their journey several hours earlier as they had arrived as early as 12pm. The event was scheduled to start at 2pm with the arrival of the MCA leadership.

 It ended after 5pm with many queueing down the single escalator and making their way back to their bus to take them home.
