The evening saw
lucky draw prizes and a sing-along sheet, with 12 songs where the lyrics were
hand written mind you, made me enquire when Stanley started planning for the event.
“Almost a
year earlier” was his answer.
True love certainly
brings out the patience in the individual
Datuk Percy
Mutthiah, an old friend of the family, before toasting to the couple said he
knew Theresa from the 1960’s.
“Theresa was
a famous singer who sang at VIP functions in Selangor while Stanley was an
engineer from Penang who was working for a cruise liner.
They met
when Theresa took a trip on one of his voyages. It was fated and they clicked
and the rest is history”
The children
of Stanley and Theresa serenaded them with the Anniversary song and showed slides
during their courtship days.

| Auld Lang Syne before the night ended |
It was
musical evening with the sing- along and the night ended with Auld Lang Syne
and a fitting ADIOS by Stanley.
