Jalan Bendahara in Ipoh still holds a thousand and one treasures and secrets.
Among them is the original site of the Raja Bendahara's Palace.
This palace was the residence of Raja Di-Hilir Perak until 1972.
The new location of Raja Di-Hilir palace is at Jalan Raja Di-Hilir Ipoh.
In the Perak constitution, Raja Di-Hilir is in the 3rd highest position after the Sultan of Perak and Raja Muda Perak.
Not much is known about this castle but looking at the records of old maps can be said along this road until Mosque and Masjid Panglima Kinta Paloh has many remains of the old house with a building design Malay.Most of these houses are no longer inhabited and are just waiting for time to collapse.
If this continues, this building in Ipoh may continue to be synonymous with colonial architecture and others.
