Pearly And Thinaah Make Me Proud To Be Malaysian

A proud Malaysian ...that's me when i saw Pearly Tan and M. Thinaah play so superbly well  to clinch the Women's Doubles title in the French Open last night. 

An excellent match played with total confidence as the pair recovered each time they fell behind in a point to come back determined to do better and stronger.

I was surprised when i heard the coach giving them pointers in Mandarin. The pair knew Mandarin!!! Then they gave the interview in perfect English. So they must speak in their native tongue Tamil, Chinese, Malay, English and Mandarin.

That's the Malaysian youth today. Thinaah and Pearly showed me what it means to be Malaysian and multi cultural .... Beautiful

Kita Boleh - Will Pakatan Harapan Return Better And Stronger

Anwar Ibrahim..to stand in the parlimentary seat of Tambun, Perak

 I attended Pakatan Harapan convention last night to see for myself if the party still had the charisma to attract the rakyat as before. The talk of the opposition was that they were not synchronized which would be enough to lose seats,

Well I came away enlightened by the show support, I heard there was over 6000 supporters that showed up at the convention centre and the rhetoric especially when PKR president Anwar Ibrahim said he will contest the Tambun parliamentary seat in the coming general election (GE15) was most welcoming.

‘As the opposition leader I’m brave and prepared to contest in Tambun a parlimentary seat 'won by a traitor under a PH ticket in the last election’.

The next PM 

Anwar was their chosen one to be the next PM by DAP, Amanah and UPKO, and all spoke of the curse that corruption had on the Malaysian landscape and their desire to rid the country of the disease.

That was all I needed to hear and with that I made an early exit home.

The Pakatan convention was held on a clear evening at the Ipoh Convention Centre

..had a meal before entering ...6.45pm

i was told to register and get a sticker before entering

when you are early there's a lot of seats

..at the end supporters sat on the floor 

..and watched on the large screens 

Pakatan Harapan/ DAP ....a 'communist' party ??? i don't think so
