Yes that’s what they call themselves. Though I found them on social media under the Penang Indian Football Club.

Saw them yesterday evening training at the Ipoh Padang so I thought I’d give them a bit of exposure. They’ve got a major tournament coming up soon or is it next month.

Don’t know if they are representing the state since they are very quiet about it but if you say PERAK DREAM TEAM and ALL GIRLS too well …… YAHOO!

They had three coaches guiding them so this upcoming tournament sounds pretty important….I figure. I can’t go so wrong.

Beauty Contests Those Days - 70's & 80's

Hot Pants ......

In the 70’s and 80’s there were Beauty Contests held every now and then. 

I recall the Jaycee’s organising some and even the banks held a Miss NUBE contest and factories like Carter Semiconductor having their own ‘contest’ during their annual function.

Beauty contest started from the teens , remember the Teen Princess. Was there a Miss Freshie Queen.

Whatever the event it was always a pleasant evening. I don’t remember the name of this  event (above) i attended but it was pleasant to the eye as a novice photographer.

Still Going Strong -The TriCycle

 Saw this today. The Tri Cycle of old. 

Its still going strong. Brakes, tyres, spokes all looked in tip top condition. 

Wonder how old is the cyclist. Whoever it is ... the product got picked up.
