Pakatan Rakyat's 4th Year in Perak.

On th 16th of March 2012 Pakatan Rakyat Perak celebrated their 4th year of their presence in Perak. PR Perak is made up of PAS,Keadilan and DAP and was formed in 2008 after wresting the state of Perak from BN.

To remember the date the coalition got together and cut four cakes 1 for each year and also for PAS, Keadilan, DAP and also PUTRAJAYA!!!!

..it was fun night...even cartoonist Zunar was there and did what he does best ....drew a caricature of the PM (though it looked like Rosmah) and the PM's wife (though it looked like Najib) ...and brought all up with the current state of affairs in the country by including a 'COW!!!' before initialing his drawing and auctioning it off as a fund raiser....

...good night which kept the fire of 'Reformasi' burning.....

Najib in Ipoh this Saturday 17 March

Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri NajibTun Razak will be in Ipoh this Saturday 17 March.Saw these posters around town....

..at 3pm ..opening a new building at SJK (C) Wan Hwa 2...understand this school is at Menglembu...(check out the phone number on the poster)

....then at 630pm attending a dinner at SMJK Yuk Choy together with 'Persatuan2 Agama Cina Negeri Perak'.....sounds interesting...will go check it out.

Remembering 308...Preparing for GE13

On 3rd March 2012 the DAP Ipoh Timor Branch held a ceramah at Chin Woo Hall, Ipoh to remember the events of 8 March 2008...the date PR took over 5 states in Peninsula Malaysia..Selangor, Perak, Penang, Kedah and Kelantan.....and to alert the Rakyat to get ready for the 13th General Election.....to be held 'at anytime now'......

....a good turn out...apparently a lot of voters have got good memories....

..MP for Ipoh Timur, Saudara Lim Kit Siang was present (seated 2nd from left) together with YB Wong Kah Woh, State Assemblyman for Canning (4th from left/a constituency of Ipoh Timor). Perak DAP Chairman YB Ngeh is seated in the 1st chair.

Ipoh Timur is made up of the constituencies of Canning, Tebing Tinggi and Pasir Pinji. Unfortunately Pinji Assemblyman Thomas Su was not on stage though he was present at the event.


remembering 308 ...'legal speaker' V.Sivakumar...refreshes the audience of the events of 7 May 2009...'the day he was replaced'.....he stands outside the speakers box...' i am a small sized person'....

...'on 7 May 2009...i entered the assembly early....i would not start the assembly...till the 'kataks' and those i suspended had left...


..from 9am till 230pm...i sat there...never left the hall..didn't eat, drink..kencing pun tadak..(laughter) ..


..then at 230pm..i saw police entering the assembly...approaching me....my PR colleagues surrounded me ...


police grabbed me by the neck...then i was like superman...no legs to walk...dragged out and put in a store room for 1 hour.

..'Me the Speaker of the State Assembly'.....

...we went to court ...for 3 years always our appeals failed...now after 3 years i understand...mentions KIDEX....(laughter)....reminds the audience to support PR in upcoming GE13.....if we win and i am Speaker i will bolt my chair down and strap myself in with seat belt'....(laughter)....



...after YB's Ngeh and Wong ...Lim Kit Siang opens his address with ....ARE YOU READY!!! loudly....'FOR CHANGE!!!'....

...'vote for change...only PR can bring about change...it will be your greatest contribution to the Nation.....and you can make Najib the Leader of the Opposition'....(applause and laughter)

...interesting reflection..and well attended..the audience at the car park..
